Covid19
So we are all self-isolating due to this virus. It kind of shakes things up a bit. I am counting my blessings... I am so blessed with health, shelter, food, relationships... everything I need. My prayers go out to all and hope that during this time you feel God’s closeness.

Gratitude
Pastor Boodt spoke about gratitude Thanksgiving morning. This window is what I am grateful for today. It was made by my husband and I am so grateful for him. He is so talented and has created so many beautiful things with his eyes and hands. Through the window I see our yard and in the yard are apple trees. I am grateful for those trees and the apples on them. When I search for what I am grateful for, I feel calm and anger is gone. What are you grateful for today? Anger Management classes in Kalamazoo and Plainwell now enrolling. Call or text Tracey Tyler at 269-808-1918

Junk in your head.
There are days when my head wants to rule my life. Trouble is my head has a lot of stored stuff that for years I enjoyed revisiting...not that I knew at the time I enjoyed it....but in retrospect I did. So, the point is that along the way I learned that the junk I liked to revisit was not helping me to be close to God and was not bringing out the best in me. A wise woman I worked with had a poster on her door that said, "Change your thinking, change your world." I practiced making changes in my thinking and I really did change my world. The pivotal point was when I decided that I could...I was in complete control of what I thought about....and you can be, too.

Moving On!!!
Stuff, stuff, stuff!!! I thought I was done moving, but NOOOOO. It is amazing how important our stuff becomes to us. Even though I didn't use or need a whole bunch of objects, the emotional draw was almost overwhelming. Recognizing the anxiety that comes with donating or throwing away is really the first step. Thoughts that helped me get rid of the extraneous included: Mom didn't want it so she gave it to me...I've never used it and somebody else needs it.....this doesn't fit my current decor...this is not my Grandma!! Whew....new thoughts can help you establish new habits. Contact me for help with anxiety or anger management. Call or text 269-808-1918. Two locations: Kalamazoo and Plainwell.

Hard hearted?
Are you waiting for someone else to change before you address your inappropriate angering? The Bible says that eventually our hearts harden if we don't open our heart to the Holy Spirit's influence. Perhaps there is someone in your life that is difficult and hard to get along with, or maybe that difficult person is you?! Whatever, you can change the way you act when you get angry. I offer 8 week Anger Management classes at Desert Streams in Kalamazoo. Call/text me for enrollment or questions 269-808-1918 or email me at traceyptyler@gmail.com
