Everyone needs to get completely away, but it may seem impossible for many reasons. Like any other goal, more can be achieved if you are realistic and able to break the big task into chunks. Define what you mean by vacation within your budget. To me, a big part of it was being "released" from day to day responsibilities involving my role as a mom and head of household. Everything after that was icing on the cake. So define it, and head toward it. Good for the soul, wherever you go, or whatever you do.
